There is no earthquake quite like an emotional earthquake: when a person is shaken to his very core, questioning his very identity, his purpose in life, his reason for being.

But just as the earth remains the earth after a convulsion, so will a person remain the person he is after his tribulations. And that, in the long run, there will come the realization that such trials are nothing more than a part of life's natural progression, leading to personal reinventions and discoveries.
